ACQUA

Georges has collaborated with percussionist Jürgen Grötzinger on several projects over the past years. One of the central projects of their collaboration was Acqua, a ballet production created by choreographer Roberto Scafati for Theater Ulm. Grötzinger composed the music in collaboration with Georges, who contributed violin and digital electronics, including live processing. Acqua was performed numerous times at Theater Ulm during the 2017–2018 season.

Their collaboration has also included projects situated between jazz, contemporary music and theatre, as well as free improvisations combining acoustic instruments and turntables. Some of these projects also drew on Grötzinger’s work as a DJ for classical music.
