THE HANNAH ARENDT DIARIES

Georges has collaborated with Swiss artist Marianne Hollenstein on several projects combining visual art and music. A central part of their collaboration has been their artistic engagement with the writings of Hannah Arendt, which Marianne translated into visual works while Georges developed a musical response to the same texts. This approach led to a series of performances in which the visual and musical interpretations encountered each other.

One of these performances took place in Kyiv in 2019, where the collaboration also extended into fashion through a project with the Ukrainian label Finch. Georges’s music was subsequently featured as part of Ukraine Fashion Week, bringing the work into a broader context of contemporary art, fashion and performance.
